hillside home

Hillside home was constructed to both house the family of one of the founding architects of holesum and serve as his home office and multiuse shop space. The project is a 450 square foot living space with a sleeping loft over a 520 square foot office. Both spaces are heated by the same wood stove and connected by an interior window. The project was designed to be a lab for architecture and life, and the first step in an ongoing project. The home was largely constructed by studio co-founder Dimitri Brand and is currently being expanded to fit a growing family (see Hillside Extension).
