Sisters is constructed for two sisters who have chosen to move in together during their retirement. The house is organized as two wings joined by a shared space and guest suite. Set atop a granite ledge in blueberry barrens that are slowly becoming overgrown by pine trees, as the shingles age and turn gray the angled shape of the house that peaks above the foliage will begin to resemble the granite boulders that surround it.
